The Mod Pod Pool Pad has been a long time in the making! When Hugh and I purchased our home. We both agreed making plans for a pool was a must. After the pool installation, we were inspired to do more! I have always dreamt of having a pool house and porch to entertain friends and family during the beautiful long summer days we have in Charleston.
I found so much inspiration in my backyard. It is surrounded by beautiful Palms and Seagrass overlooking the Marsh. When designing the Mod Pod Pool Pad, I wanted to create a space with natural colors while mixing in Modern accents. After seeing Belgard's two colors of the year, Tidepool, a deep teal, and Seagrass, a soft sage green, I knew I had to incorporate these colors. Tidepool and Seagrass are perfect for an outdoor area as they resemble elements of nature and colors seen throughout the Lowcountry.
Belgard 2023 Colors of the Year
Tidepool, a deep teal, you will find in our poolside area. This color brings the calm and zen feelings you experience visiting the ocean. This color also resembles the shades of blue you will see in the ocean and Charleston sunsets.
Seagrass, a soft sage green, is found throughout the Lowcountry foliage. Living on the Marsh there is no shortage of seagrass! This natural green seamlessly blends my poolhouse to the outdoors.
