Serena and Lily is one of my go to vendors for all projects, especially outdoor. I love that their products do not scream outdoor! They are all very light neutral colors, incorporate a lot of woven textures (which is always hard to find that is quality and truly lasts outdoors) and helps us achieve our goal of bringing the indoor design aesthetic of the home out. It's always a challenge and Serena and Lily nails it every time with their outdoor collection and truly makes it easy for us to source the best products for our designs.
Living in the lowcountry of South Carolina and creating lots of modern coastal designs, the outdoor living areas are extremely important to our clients. We maximize the outdoor spaces by creating both living and dining areas. There is nothing better than relaxing on a screened in porch or hosting a dinner party on a cooler night outside. We want these areas to feel as finished and fabulous as the interior of the home. Serena and Lily products are both durable for the outdoor elements and flawlessly beautiful!

We chose the Capistrano Dining Chair - Driftwood for this special porch project. We love how the woven chairs have a subtle lean to the silhouette and capture the look of sun-bleached rattan through the airy finish. The performance fabric cushions are durable and will be long lasting for our clients to enjoy for many seasons to come.
We finished off the look with some signature Megan Molten palms (faux options are available on our shop or cut some straight from your yard), woven hurricanes and a large white bowl.
This outdoor living area captures what we mean by bringing the indoors out! We created a true outdoor living room layout with the Serena and Lily Pacifica Sofa and Pacifica Lounge Chairs both in the driftwood finish. I love their take on classic wicker furniture using outdoor-friendly materials. The cushions are crafted from performance fabrics and are so comfortable while also being resistant to wear and tear. The Bamileke Outdoor Coffee Table was the perfect neutral choice to finish the space. The handcrafted basketweave pattern and bright white finish makes this table a gorgeous piece for indoors or out! I love that Serena and Lily's outdoor selection is just as thoughtfully designed as their indoor selections.
We finished off the look with a tray and some accessories on the coffee table as well as plants throughout the space!
You all know how I love palms! We paired the Palm Pillow in sand with the Pacifica Lounge Chairs. I love how easy it is to pair the Serena and Lily accessories with their furniture. Outdoor pillows can be so hard to find ~ it is wonderful that their selection is both on trend and neutral unlike so many outdoor pillow brands.
When it comes to front porches, I love to incorporate a hanging daybed. What could be more relaxing than resting on one of these for an afternoon nap?! Styling the area around the daybed is key. I always incorporate an outdoor rug, garden stool or side table to set a refreshing drink on and candle holders. I fell in love with the Tortola Lanterns by Serena and Lily as they come in a grouping of different sizes and shapes! The natural rattan brings just the right amount of texture and interest into the design and the quality can not be beat!

Lastly, I wanted to share an outdoor living room design with my all time favorite Serena and Lily coffee table, the Boonville Coffee Table. This showstopping piece captures all the natural beauty of raw wood with its organic lines and live edge. I absolutely love the uniqueness of this coffee table ~ you just can not find outdoor furnishings with this level of elegance outside of Serena and Lily!
