My Staycation at the Charleston Place

Happy New Year! I cannot believe it is already 2023 the year flew by. Right before the holidays I was able to take a restful Staycation at the Charleston Place. It was so much fun being able to vacation in my own city. I am excited to share all the details with y'all about my trip!

Me and two close friends arrived at the Charleston place to check in and went straight to the spa for some R&R. I received an amazing facial that left me feeling refreshed and glowy. The holidays are such a crazy, busy time- I am SO lucky that I was able to have a little time to myself.

The spa is located on the top floor of the hotel its breathtaking, beautiful rooftop views of Charleston make you feel like your on top of the world. The spa also includes a rooftop pool where my friends and I enjoyed some bubbles taking in the picturesque sunset. What a dream!

The sun set as we wrapped up the relaxing happy hour. Next, was dinner at the Charleston Grill. I had the best caviar and yummy lamb chops. The atmosphere of the Charleston Grill provided a night to remember, live music, everyone dressed to the nines and service that will blow you away, not to mention the food was all incredible.

After dinner, we headed out front of the hotel to see the nightly snowfall. Every night in December, the Charleston place hosts a magical snowfall event. It is truly my favorite holiday activity of the season. Cocktails in hand we watched the magical snow falling from the sky while taking in views of the stunning Christmas tree.

I woke up day two at the Charleston place in the mood to shop! The hotel has a handful of stores. Including some of my favorites, Louis Vuitton, Everything but Water, and Gucci- of course! Hugh loved exploring the art galleries while I shopped. We had the best time browsing the beautifully decorated store front windows, and getting some Christmas shopping done.

The girls joined Hugh and I later in the day to meet Santa, see the snowfall, and enjoy endless hot cocoa in the lobby. We were even able to take some Christmas photos! Seeing all the Christmas magic at the hotel through the girl's eyes was so special.

Hugh and I then got to end the night just the two of us and enjoyed cocktails and dinner at the Charleston Grill. Even better on night two! We consider ourselves foodies and have enjoyed many dining experiences in Charleston. The Charleston Grill is at the top of our list of favorites now. The live jazz, delish cocktails and fabulous array of dining choices provided another night full of feeling completely spoiled.

I absolutely loved my time at the Charleston place and will cherish the time spent with family and friends during the busy holiday season forever.

Xx,

Megan
