I love what a colorful piece of art can do for a room. A pop of color can make all the difference in a space. I like my designs to draw from natural elements such as calming coastal colors and textures which is why I love working with local artists. I find many of the artists I carry use pinks, blues, greens, golds and colors you find in the marshes of the lowcountry. I love playful paintings like Copper Chica by Windy O'Conner as well as the beautiful oyster paintings by Chelsea Goer. Danielle Cather Cohen uses bright colors to create beautiful visuals of landscapes including palm trees and Charleston landmarks. For an abstract look Katherine Freeman's take on color stories is so much fun. A pair of two watercolors is one of my all time favorite looks from Studio Betsy.
