Country Club II Project

Country Club II project is located in a sweet neighborhood in James Island. The beautiful home was the perfect fit for our client's young family however needed some updates to make it their own. We worked on many spaces in the home including the master bedroom, nursery, dining room and are currently working on their playroom.. stay tuned! I am so excited to share how these beautiful spaces came together!

When a potential client reaches out to us regarding our design services, we first ask they fill out a Design Inquiry Form. This helps our team determine if we will be the right fit for the project. Once we have agreed to work together, I have a phone consult with the client followed by an initial in-home consult. During the walk through we take photos and measurements of the spaces we plan to work on. Later, we will create a furniture plan to map out how I think each room should be laid out and how the furniture will best fit in the room.

After the in-home consult we provide our clients with a package and contract which breaks down the timeline and cost of the project. Once the contract is finalized and signed, the design days begin. This is when we create floor plans, lighting plans, presentation boards and a proposal for the clients. We present the plan to our clients showing them presentation boards to help visualize the selections made together for the space. We make any adjustments after the presentation and hear clients feedback before we order, inspect and warehouse all items leading up to install day.

I love taking a look at the before and after photos. It is fun to see the transformation of each space we work on! Many of the homes are beautiful and just need the right planning and selections to bring it all together!

We oversee every detail of the project from start to finish. From our initial in-home consult to hand selecting each item to warehousing to install day, we take care of everything. Our absolute favorite day is install day. We typically ask clients to leave so we can have all of their new furniture delivered and styled to perfection. We install light fixtures, fans, artwork, curtains, and more all on install day. Everything is then styled with books, plants, pillows and decorative accessories. When the clients arrive home it is truly a HGTV dream moment when we finally get to reveal their new space!

Many of the decorative accessories, mirrors, furniture, greenery and lighting we use throughout our designs can be purchased on our shop! In the Country Club II project we used our Fiddle Fig Leaf Plant combined with a Woven Bamboo Basket with wood legs in the nursery. We also used my favorite acrylic shelving and styled it with books, stuffed animals, art and a Full Faux Fan Palm from the shop. I typically try to incorporate fun baby items such as stuffed animals and books in a unique way so nurseries can be functional while also not too baby. I want the kids to be able to grow with their rooms!

We also incorporated items from the shop in the master bedroom as well as the dining room. I love adding hints of greenery and frames to a nightstand. For a completed look we added candles, books, wooden beads and a crystal stone geode to the Coconut Tray to top off the dresser. We chose the Lauren Lamp from the shop to complete each nightstand in the master bedroom.
