Moody Paint Colors I'm Obsessed With

I always say my design aesthetic is forever evolving. Typically, I stick to a light, bright color palette. I never thought I would say I am loving color lately, especially jewel tones. If you have been following me for a while you will see I have started incorporating deeper colors into spaces. They bring such a cozy, relaxing feeling to any room. I am so excited to share some of my favorite jewel-inspired paint colors. Perfect for giving your space a moody makeover...

Paint Color: Normandy Blue by Benjamin Moore

Narragansett Green by Benjamin Moore

Green can be scary. Although this color is named green, it is more of a blackened teal. Perfect for homes with character. We used this color in the Circa 1796 project living space. Giving this downtown Charleston historic home the refresh it needed. I also had this color in my Powder Room at one point! It makes a statement but still feels neutral.

Normandy Blue by Benjamin Moore

Every time we share this space on social media, I always get asked, "What paint color is that?" Normandy Blue mixes the smallest hint of blue with a sharp dark deep gray. I love using this color on any space with built-ins. It is the perfect statement color without being too overwhelming.

Cheating Heart by Benjamin Moore

This color was intimidating to use but turned out amazing! Cheating Heart is a deep charcoal with cool blue undertones- almost black. Perfect for a smaller space. We selected this color for our Building a Dream project in the Butler's Pantry.
