NOW LIVE: Virtual Design Service

Styling any space can be stressful! Whether it is a console table, coffee table, shelves, or simply tying a room together. After a couple of years of receiving styling questions from shop customers and on Instagram, I knew I needed to create a service to help.

Fast forward, the Virtual Design Service was born!

Our Virtual Design service is intended for clients who have most of their furnishings in place but need assistance from a Megan Molten stylist to elevate their overall space(s). This service is ideal for clients who don’t need a full room designed. But rather need help pulling a room together and making those final touches. A Megan Molten stylist can assist in the selection of accent furniture, artwork, and accessories from our shop to tie the room(s) together and bring the vision to life.

I am so excited to share all the details on our first completed Virtual Design project, Mellow Modern. This client needed help pulling together her vacation home in Puerto Rico. She had all the furniture in place but needed those final touches. Below I have shared the Mellow Modern design plans that the client will refer to making her house a home!

Kitchen + Dining Space

This Modern kitchen did not need much. We wanted to keep things minimal and clean. Sticking to the earth tones color palette, we chose accessories with natural finishes and neutral tones. We did not want to take away from the space or clutter the kitchen.

Living Room

Keeping the Modern aesthetic in mind, we wanted to style minimal accessories and create a cozy, inviting environment. Using almost all black and white accessories brought the mellow vibes into this Living Room. Then incorporating a couple coffee table books was such an easy way to add a pop of color. In a Living Room I always have to have a pretty candle and picture frames. Picture frames allow the client to incorporate a personal touch with photos, and a lit candle makes your guests feel welcome.

Primary Bedroom

A Primary Bedroom should be a peaceful escape. Since this is a vacation home I wanted to have a little fun! We went with a cool earth-toned, patterned pillow for the bed. Accent pillows are such an easy way to elevate a room! Tying the space together- with faux pampas, sleek table lamps, and a couple of small accessories transformed this previously cold room into a sanctuary.
